Itinerary
Day 1 Beijing
Welcome to China. We will arrange your transfer from any airport to your hotel.

Day 2 Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City; enjoy an a la carte welcome lunch featuring authentic Peking duck; continue to the Temple of Heaven and the Olympic landmarks; in the evening, enjoy copper hot pot and join a food challenge.

Day 3 Beijing
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall and experience the toboggan ride. Lunch features Northeastern Chinese dishes and charcoal-grilled skewers (Chinese barbecue). Experience Chinese culture through brush calligraphy. Choose either complimentary teeth cleaning or a foot massage. Dinner includes jianbing, followed by another food challenge.

Day 4: Beijing to Xi’an by High-Speed Train
Visit Yonghe Temple and explore the hutongs; enjoy a traditional Xinjiang lunch and the day’s food challenge; take the high-speed train to Xi’an and check into your hotel.

Day 5 Xi’an
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and the former residence of the first discoverer of the Terracotta Army; enjoy a grand Shaanxi noodle lunch; continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Bell Tower, then enjoy a dumpling dinner and a Tang Dynasty music and dance show in the evening.

Day 6 Fly from Xi’an to Guilin
Visit Xi’an Ancient City Wall and enjoy a cycling tour; have lunch at a highly rated local restaurant in Xi’an; fly to Guilin and check into your hotel.

Day 7 Guilin
Visit the Longji Rice Terraces, minority villages, and Elephant Trunk Hill. Enjoy an ethnic-style lunch at a local farmhouse restaurant in the village and dinner at a well-known local restaurant. A food challenge is also included.

Day 8 Guilin – Yangshuo
Li River cruise and a visit to West Street.
Enjoy a cruise on the Li River with buffet lunch on board. We will arrange a well-equipped deluxe cruise with attentive service. Sail along the winding Li River to Yangshuo and take in dreamlike scenery along the way. You can go up to the deck to enjoy the sunshine, or sit quietly inside and admire the picturesque views through the windows. After disembarking, you can walk through West Street or take a sightseeing cart to the parking area.

Day 9 Guilin – Shanghai
Visit Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill, then fly to Shanghai.
In the morning, visit Reed Flute Cave which is a famous scenic spot offering a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites in fantastic shapes and colors. After that, we will drive back to the city center and enjoy a cozy coffee time. The Elephant Trunk Hill is the badge of Guilin city. The hill looks exactly like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water of the Li River. Walking along the Li River and Shanhu Lake, seeing the Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas at the bank of the lake.
A La Carte lunch at a local popular restaurant to enjoy authentic Chinese food.
Take a bullet train to Zhangjiajie . Your local tour guide will wait for you at the trains station and help you to transfer to the hotel.

Day 10 Zhangjiajie
Mt. Tianmenshan, Exterior View of Dayong Ancient Town, the 72 Qilou (72-story Tujia Stilted Building)
Visit Tianmen Mountain full day, explore the six wonders of Tianmen Mountain including: Tianmen Mt Cable car, Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Temple, Bonsai Garden, Tianmen Cave, Connected-Heaven Avenue, etc. After lunch, drive back to Zhangjiajie downtown to visit the 72 Qilou (72-story Tujia Stilted Building) — the new landmark of Zhangjiajie. En route, you will have a 10-minute photo stop at the front square of Dayong Ancient Town.
For dinner, we’ll go to a highly-rated local Hunan restaurant known for its authentic “Bowl Cuisine” (small clay-pot dishes), where dishes are served in small, simmering clay pots to keep them hot and flavorful. It’s a favorite among both tourists and locals.
Day 11 Zhangjiajie
Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, Ten-mile Gallery
visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by taking the Bailong Elevator. This spot is a highlight of your private Zhangjiajie tour, famous in the world for the Hallelujah Mountains that appeared in the movie Avatar, and the magnificent “The First Stone Bridge in the World”. Then we will take a battery car to visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, where you could see mountains, grand valleys, and original forests. If you are lucky, you may see the marvelous sea of clouds.
Afterwards, take a small train to visit Ten-mile Gallery. Along the 5km drive there are unique stones forming different shapes, feeling like a natural landscape painting. In the end of day, we will drive you back to your hotel in Zhangjiajie to have a rest.

Day 12 Zhangjiajie —Shanghai
Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, Baofeng Lake, Fly to Shanghai
Visit the world’s longest and highest glass bridge, the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. Afterwards, your guide will accompany you to Baofeng Lake, where you will enjoy a boat ride amid beautiful lake and mountain scenery. You will then be transferred to Zhangjiajie Airport for an evening flight to Shanghai, China’s largest and most modern gateway city.

Day 13 Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and Yu Garden; enjoy xiaolongbao as the signature lunch dish; stroll along the Bund, take a Huangpu River cruise, and enjoy a farewell buffet dinner on board.

Day 14 Departure from Shanghai
