A traction pad is a five-year decision, so we cut ours from a denser EVA than most. The diamond groove is deep enough to hold a wet neoprene bootie and the arch is deliberately low, because a high arch tells your back foot where to go whether or not you agree.
Comes with a 3M adhesive backing that will survive a summer in a hot car and still peel cleanly when you sell the board.
