A magnetically suspended motor keeps the Velvet Wand under 45 dB at its lowest setting — quieter than a whisper, and quiet enough that a closed door is genuinely enough.
The weight is deliberate too: 340g, balanced toward the handle, so your wrist stays relaxed through a long session.
Body-safe, all the way through
The head and body are moulded from a single piece of medical-grade platinum-cured silicone — no seams, no glued joins, nowhere for moisture to collect.
Phthalate-free, non-porous, and independently lab-tested to ISO 10993 for skin contact. The gold trim is polished ABS with a PVD finish that won’t flake or tarnish.
Charge once, forget about it
A 1,800 mAh cell gives roughly two hours of continuous use from a two-hour charge over the magnetic USB-C connector.
There’s no charging port to corrode, which is also how it earns its IPX7 rating: fully submersible to one metre, safe in the bath and genuinely rinseable afterwards.
Ten modes, two ways to steer
- Three steady speeds — from a low, broad hum to a deep, focused rumble.
- Seven patterns — pulse, wave, escalate, and four rhythmic blends.
- Memory — it wakes up in the mode you left it in, not at full power.
- Travel lock — hold both outer buttons for three seconds; it will not switch on in a bag.

Care. Rinse with warm water and a little unscented soap, or use our toy cleaning spray. Pat dry and store in the pouch. Silicone toys and silicone lubricant don’t get along — use a water-based lubricant with this one.
