Description
ED-Recessed exists so the emergency provision does not spoil the ceiling. The visible part is a 75mm trim with an opal lens; the battery sits in a separate box above the ceiling on a 1.5m lead, which keeps the aperture small and puts the heaviest component where it can be serviced from the void. Three cut-out sizes cover most grid and plasterboard details.
