A camera that fails in month thirteen costs more than it ever saved. This page summarises how we keep failure rates low enough to make five-year warranties a calm business decision.
Components and housings
Image sensors, lenses and power components are qualified against our own environmental spec before they enter the bill of materials. Housings are salt-spray and thermal-cycle tested; gaskets and glands are batch-checked, because water finds the one bad seal.
Image quality tuning
Every camera model is tuned on real scenes — car parks at dusk, backlit lobbies, IR night shots — not just test charts. Firmware defaults are chosen so an installer who changes nothing still hands over a usable image.
Bench testing before dispatch
Each unit is powered, focused and soak-tested at elevated temperature before packing. Recorders ship with drive bays exercised and firmware current. Controllers have every relay clicked and every input read on the bench.
Documentation
- Per-model datasheets with honest, measured figures.
- Mounting templates and drill guides in the carton.
- Wiring diagrams for readers, controllers and sensor loops.
- Commissioning checklist for handover to the end client.
