Most first “proper” boards are too small. The Highwater is deliberately not: 46.5 litres under a rounded egg outline, with a soft rail through the nose and a harder edge from the front foot back.
The result is a board you can catch anything on, but one that will still hold a line down a shoulder once you stop looking at your feet. Plenty of our customers keep it in the van long after they have moved to a shortboard.
