Everything we sell is packed by hand at the workshop. Bicycles are dispatched ninety-five per cent assembled — you attach the front wheel, straighten the bars and pump the tyres.
Shipping
Orders over $180 ship free within the continental United States. Below that, shipping is a flat $12 for accessories and $60 for complete bicycles.
Accessories leave us within two working days. Complete bicycles take three to five, because each one is built and road-tested before it is crated. We would rather be a day late than send out something untuned.
Packaging
We crate bicycles in plastic-free packaging: cardboard, paper tape and moulded pulp. There is nothing in the box you cannot put in a recycling bin.
Returns
You have thirty days from delivery to return anything, for any reason, including having simply changed your mind. We ask that bicycles be returned in a condition that reflects reasonable trial use — a month of commuting is fine, a month of commuting plus a repaint is not.
Return shipping on a complete bicycle is $60. For accessories it is free, and we will send a label.
Exchanges
If the fit is wrong, we would much rather swap the bicycle than refund it. Email us and we will arrange a straight exchange for a different size at no cost, including collection.
Warranty
Frames are guaranteed for ten years against manufacturing defects. Components carry their manufacturer’s warranty, typically two years. Wear items — tyres, brake pads, chains, cables, bar tape — are not covered, because they are meant to wear.
Servicing
Every complete bicycle comes with two years of free servicing at the workshop: brakes, gears, bearings and truing, as often as you need it.
This is a demonstration store. No orders are dispatched and no payments are taken.
