FAQ

Rods for beginners, spooling, shipping, returns and spares answered.

Quick answers to what we get asked most. Anything else, ask us directly.

Which rod should a beginner start with?

For most lakes and rivers, the Drift Lure Rod with the Current 3000 reel covers everything from perch to pike. If fly water is calling, the Mistline 5-weight is the friendliest first fly rod we know.

Do reels come loaded with line?

Reels ship empty so you can choose the line for your water. Add the Tracer braid to any reel order and we will note your request at checkout – our team spools it before dispatch, free.

How fast is shipping?

Orders ship within 2 business days on tracked services. Orders over $75 ship free.

Can I return gear I have fished with?

Unused gear returns freely within 30 days. If something failed on the water, that is a warranty conversation – write to us with photos and we will sort it quickly.

Do you stock spare parts?

Yes – spare spools, rod tips, net mesh and chair feet are stocked for every current model. Most spares install at home in minutes with the included guide.

Are your waders sized generously?

The Stonecreek runs true to street shoe and clothing size, with room for a mid-layer. Between sizes, size up – a size chart lives on the product page.
