The LM-NW400 consolidates carded web into coherent felt by driving barbed needles through the batt on a balanced beam drive. Stroke frequency and advance per stroke set from the panel, defining punch density in numbers the lab can verify.
Needle boards lift out on rails for reneedling, with board geometry recorded so replacement boards return the machine to a known state. The bed and stripper plates are machined flat as an assembly, keeping penetration uniform across the full width.
Inlet and outlet drives are synchronised with draft control, so heavy geotextile felts and light hygiene substrates both leave the machine at their intended weight.
