The HV-X9 mounts under a module pair and drops their output to touch-safe voltage the moment the initiator opens — from the firefighter switch, a grid loss, or the inverter itself. First responders work on a roof measured in volts, not hundreds of volts.
Installation is two plugs per unit, powerline-signalled so no extra control wiring crosses the roof. Status reports back through the inverter and the HV-W1 gateway, per unit, so a failed device names itself.
