There is no dye in the Fieldstone. The oatmeal, the soft grey and the near-charcoal are three separate fleeces, sorted by colour before spinning, which is why the bands have a slight variegation that a dyed rug never gets. It is a flatweave at roughly 12 mm, low enough that a dining chair pulls back over it cleanly and a door still clears. There is no latex backing, so it can be shaken out, turned end for end each year and eventually re-woven at the selvedge rather than binned. Pair it with a felt underlay on a hard timber floor.
