Loomfold sells a short range of bath and bed textiles. There are eight products. There is no reason for there to be eighty, because once you have picked a weight and a weave, the rest is colour.
Why the range is this small
Most towel ranges are built by adding weights. A 400, a 500, a 600, a 700 and a 900, all in the same cotton, so that the shelf looks full and the customer has to guess. We picked one weight for the terry pieces, 500 GSM, because it is the weight that works in an ordinary bathroom, and then made the sizes people actually need in it.
The exceptions earn their place. The bath mat is 800 GSM because it is stood on. The robe is 320 GSM waffle because a robe hangs on a door and needs to dry. The hair wrap is 280 GSM because a heavy one pulls at the roots.
What we publish
Every product page gives the finished size in centimetres after the first wash, the weight in GSM, the fibre, the weave, the yarn, the wash temperature, the expected first-wash shrinkage and how the colour is expected to behave. None of that is proprietary. It is simply the information you would need to choose, and most of it is normally left off.
Where a number would be a guess, we leave it out rather than round it up. Shrinkage is given as a ceiling, not an average, because an average is no use to someone measuring a rail.
Where the cloth comes from
