VD-75-S

VD Series Submersible Dewatering Pump

Stainless steel submersible pump for site dewatering, drainage and sump duty. It runs in the water it is moving, so the motor cooling comes free and there is nothing to prime.

  • Continuous submerged duty with run-dry-tolerant seal chamber
  • Open impeller against a replaceable wear plate: grit passes, clearance recovers
  • Thermal contacts per phase and a seal-chamber moisture sensor wired out
  • Hose or flanged discharge from the same unit

Product detail

The VD Series is built for the places a surface pump cannot reach: excavation sumps, flooded basements, tunnel headings, storm tanks and quarry pits. The motor jacket is 316 stainless and the whole unit is rated for continuous submerged operation, with a run-dry-tolerant seal chamber for sumps that empty faster than the float can react.

The hydraulic end uses an open impeller against a replaceable wear plate, so grit is passed rather than trapped and the clearance is recoverable. A cast strainer base keeps the larger debris out, and the discharge takes either a hose coupling or a flanged connection.

Protection is built into the motor rather than bolted on: thermal contacts in each winding phase and a moisture sensor in the seal chamber, both wired out to the control cable so a starter can act on them.
