Acetate, aged properly
We mill from thick plant-based acetate blocks that rest for weeks before cutting, so the material settles and the colour runs deep. Rushed acetate warps; ours holds its line for years.
Hinges that outlive trends
Barrel hinges are riveted, not glued, and cycled ten thousand times on a rig before a design is approved. A frame should open the same way on day one thousand as it did in the shop.
Lenses, checked twice
Every lens is inspected over diffused light for coating flaws and edge finish before it leaves the bench — once by machine, once by a person who takes it personally.
Fit is part of the product
Frames ship with a fit kit, and any Vistara store or partner optician will adjust yours free, forever. A frame that slides down your nose is a frame we have not finished.
