Claybank sells a short range of things a table needs: stoneware plates and bowls, hand-blown glass, brushed cutlery and washed linen. Everything is chosen to be used on a Tuesday rather than kept for occasions.
Open stock
Every shape is sold on its own. A boxed set is convenient once and a problem for the ten years afterwards, because the day you break one bowl you either buy four more or live with a set of three. Shapes stay in the range long enough that replacing a single piece is a realistic thing to do rather than a promise.
Published measurements
Every product page carries diameter, height, capacity in millilitres and weight per piece, plus whether the shape lies flat in a dishwasher and how high a stack of six sits. Those are the numbers people need in order to decide, and they are the ones most shops leave out in favour of adjectives.
Reactive glazes
The stoneware here uses reactive glazes, which move while they are firing. Two plates from the same kiln differ in tone and in where the glaze breaks over the rim. We say so on every page, rather than photographing one perfect piece and hoping you do not notice.
