Five pieces to a setting: dinner knife, dinner fork, dessert fork, soup spoon and teaspoon. Brushed rather than mirror-polished, so fingerprints and water spots do not show and the first scratch does not stand out against the rest of the finish.
Weight and balance
A setting weighs 320 g. The knife carries most of that at 118 g, with a forged bolster behind the blade. The balance point sits just behind the handle join, which is why it stays put when you rest it on the edge of a plate instead of see-sawing into the food.
Steel

Washing
Dishwasher safe. Two habits matter more than the machine does. Rinse anything salty or acidic off before it sits overnight, and never leave stainless cutlery soaking in contact with another metal, because that is what pits it.

Sold as a place setting and as single pieces. A household of five is not forced to buy a sixth full setting because it is one fork short.
