FAQ

Choosing, verification, site calibration, compatibility and lead times.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else, ask an engineer.

What information do you need to recommend a scale?

Three things start every recommendation: the heaviest load you will weigh, the smallest difference you need to see, and the environment — wet, dusty, classified or clean. Platform size and interface needs refine it from there.

Are your scales suitable for legal-for-trade use?

Most platform, floor and bench models are designed to verification-class accuracy and can be verified in your jurisdiction. Tell us where the scale will operate and we will confirm the path at quote stage.

Do you calibrate on site?

Yes — service teams carry certified test weights for site calibration and verification visits, and we support scheduled re-calibration programs with reminders and consolidated reporting.

Can your indicators work with platforms we already own?

Usually. Our terminals accept standard strain-gauge inputs, so most existing platforms connect directly. Send the platform’s sensor data (or a nameplate photo) and we will confirm.

What are typical lead times?

Standard bench, floor and crane scales ship from stock or within 2–3 weeks. Checkweighers and hazardous-area builds typically run 4–8 weeks; the quote states the committed date.

How often should a scale be re-calibrated?

It depends on duty and consequence of error — most industrial scales run well on 6–12 month cycles, tighter for trade or batching duty. We will recommend an interval with the quote, then remind you when it is due.
