Woven by hand from natural rattan and finished with two leather mounting straps, the Rye is unapologetically old-fashioned. It is also genuinely practical: fifteen litres swallows a full shop, and an open top means you never have to unfasten anything.
Straps, not brackets
Two leather straps buckle around the handlebar, which means it fits almost any bicycle and comes off in under a minute when you would rather not have it.
Sealed against weather
The rattan is lacquered before it leaves the workshop, so an unexpected downpour will not soften the weave.
