Headphones left on a desk get sat on, and headphones hung on a narrow hook develop a dent in the headband padding. The HS-1 exists to solve the second problem, which is the one that shortens a headphone’s life.
The yoke
The arm is 78 mm across and felt-lined, so the load spreads across the headband instead of concentrating on a single point. It fits every full-size headphone we sell and most others; measure across the inside of your headband if you are unsure.
The base
A 1.4 kg machined base with a felt underside. It is heavy on purpose, a light stand tips when you lift a headphone off it one-handed, which is how headphones end up on the floor.
Cable management
A channel behind the column takes a cable down to the desk so a 3 m lead does not coil around the base. Assembly is one hex bolt and the key is in the box.
