A valve manufacturer for process plant, organised around machining accuracy, pressure testing and material traceability.

Valveon manufactures industrial valves for oil and gas, power generation, water treatment and chemical process plants. We machine, assemble, test and document valves in one plant, which is the only arrangement that lets us answer a question about a specific body three years after it shipped.

What we make

Gate, ball, butterfly, globe, check and control valves from DN15 to DN600, Class 150 to Class 900, in carbon steel, low temperature carbon steel and austenitic stainless. Six families, one specification process, one spares catalogue.

How a valve gets specified

We ask for line size, design pressure and temperature, the medium, the cycle frequency and how the valve has to behave when it fails. From those answers the pressure class, the body material, the trim and the end connection follow. A specification conversation takes longer than sending a PDF catalogue and it is the reason our customers rarely order the wrong valve twice.

Machining

Bodies and bonnets are machined on CNC lathes and machining centres, with the seat pocket, the flange facing and the stem bore taken in as few setups as the geometry allows. Concentricity between the stem bore and the seat is what decides whether a valve seals after the bonnet is torqued, and it is the dimension we check on every body rather than on a sample.

Testing

Every valve is shell and seat tested on the bench before painting, following the pressure test practice described in API 598. The test pressures, the hold times and the result go into the record for that body serial number.

Traceability

Heat numbers are carried from the casting or forging, through machining, to the material certificate that ships with the valve. If a body is ever questioned, the paperwork points back to the melt it came from.

A note on standards

Where this site names a standard such as API 600, ASME B16.34, API 6D, API 598, ASME B16.10 or EN 1092-1, it is describing the design, dimensional or test practice a valve is built and tested to. Those are public specifications. They are not third-party certifications and this site does not claim any.
