Send the line data and we will come back with a body, trim and end connection recommendation.
Send the line size, design pressure and temperature, the medium and how the valve has to fail, and an engineer will come back with a body and trim recommendation, a face-to-face dimension and a dimensioned datasheet.
If you are replacing a valve in an existing line, include the face-to-face dimension you have to fit and the flange rating and standard on the mating flanges. That is usually enough to confirm a direct replacement without a site visit.
For a control valve, we also need flow at minimum, normal and maximum conditions with the pressure drop available at each. Line size on its own is not enough to size one.
