A proper belt is one purchase, once. Ours is cut from full-grain, vegetable-tanned hide at a uniform 10 mm thickness — supportive from day one and moulded to you within a dozen sessions.
The double-prong steel buckle and riveted keeper are field-replaceable, though you are unlikely to ever need to.
