A face cloth should be used once and then washed, which means you need more of them in circulation than anything else in a bathroom. Three is a week for one person washing twice, or one each for a household of three.
Made for a hot wash
Everything else in the range is dyed for a 40C wash. These are dyed to hold their colour at 60C, because a cloth used on skin should be washed hot and dried fully, and a dye that bleeds at 60C makes that impossible. They can still go in at 40C with the towels when they have had an easy day.
One in each colourway
The set contains one cloth in each of the three colours we weave, which is also the simplest way to tell whose is whose in a shared bathroom.
Size and weight
30 x 30 cm in the same 500 GSM cotton as the bath towels, so they have enough substance to work at rather than going limp when wet. Overlocked on all four sides rather than hemmed, so they lie flat and dry evenly.
