The Walnut Grove is blocked the slow way: a wool felt hood steamed over a beech block, hand-shaped at the crown, rested overnight, then banded in navy grosgrain with a flat stitched bow. The 80 mm brim is wide enough to change your silhouette and stiff enough to hold its sweep in weather.
Deep chocolate felt with a ribbon in our house navy is the pairing this whole shop is built around – warm and cool in one glance. The interior sweatband is soft twill, and each hat ships in a crush-proof box with a care card. Brush with the grain after wearing and it will age like a leather jacket: better.
