Description
Painting flat on a table lies to you about values and ruins your neck by Thursday. The Tabletop Easel fixes both: oiled beech legs open to three working angles, the tray holds boards and canvases up to 60cm, and a rear brace locks with a brass wing nut that does not wander mid-session.
Folded, it is five centimetres thin and light enough to hang from a hook. The joints are mortised, not stapled, and the wood is finished with oil rather than lacquer so it ages like furniture instead of chipping like a toy. A small stand that quietly upgrades every painting made on it.
