Product detail
A burnisher does one job: it puts the gloss back on a sealed or polished floor without stripping and re-coating it. The BU-510 runs a 510 mm pad at 1,500 rpm from a battery, so it works in retail and transport floors where a trailing cable is not acceptable.
Pad pressure
Pad pressure is set by moving the machine’s own weight over the head rather than by a spring, so the pressure stays where the operator put it as the pad wears down. That is the difference between an even finish across a room and a bright patch where the operator started.
Dust
A passive skirt and a full-width dust brush hold most of the polish dust at the head. On floors where airborne dust is a problem, run the burnisher before the scrubber rather than after it, so anything that escapes is picked up in the next pass.
Run time
A 36 V, 100 Ah lithium pack gives about two hours of continuous burnishing. The pack is common with the WS-530, so a site running both machines carries one spare pack instead of two.
