Description
The bowl we make more of than anything else. It holds a generous breakfast, a bowl of soup at the end of a long day, or a couple of scoops of ice cream without looking mean about it.
The rim is hollowed rather than cut flat, which means it meets your mouth softly and sits comfortably against your palm. Because each one is thrown individually, the wall thickness shifts a little from piece to piece — the heavier ones hold heat longer.
Speckled grey stoneware under a matte oatmeal glaze. The iron in the clay body blooms through during the firing, so the freckling is different on every bowl.
