Quick answers to what we are asked most. Anything else, write to us directly.
What are your toys made of?
Solid beech and maple, with thin water-based colour where a piece is painted at all. Finishes are designed with child-safe play in mind, and every listing states its materials in plain words. If you need the finish sheet for a specific batch, write to us and we send it.
What age are the toys for?
Every listing carries a recommended age range – rattles from around three months, stackers from around one year, block sets from eighteen months or two years depending on piece size. Ranges are our honest starting points, not medical advice; you know your child best.
How do I clean wooden toys?
A cloth wrung out in warm soapy water, then a dry wipe – that is the whole manual. Never soak wood and never run it through a dishwasher; standing water is the one thing solid beech genuinely resents.
My toy has teeth marks and scratches – is that a problem?
It is a biography. Bare wood sands smooth again with a fine grit in a minute, and thin paint wears at the corners the way loved things do. If something actually breaks, write to us – single replacement pieces are a question we happily answer.
Why is the colour slightly different from the photo?
Because wood is not plastic. Grain, tone and paint absorbency vary board to board, so every piece is its own small variation. Shapes and sizes are held consistent; the grain is yours alone.
