Loomsole Sock Co. started with a repair habit. We were the people friends brought their favorite socks to – the hiking pair with the worn heel, the dress pair that lost its cuff – and after enough darning we understood exactly where socks fail and why. Eventually it was easier to knit them right from the start. This shop is that decision, several thousand pairs later.
What we knit
Rib crews and everyday multi-packs, ankle socks and no-show liners, cushioned athletic pairs, merino blend hikers, fine-gauge dress socks, kids trios, fleece-lined slipper socks and the gift boxes that share them. Everything is knit in the round on small circular looms, in combed cotton and merino blends chosen for hand feel and honest wear.

How we work
- Knit in the round: leg, heel and toe are worked in one seamless pass on small looms – no side seams, nothing to rub.
- Reinforced where it counts: heels and toes get a second pass of yarn, because that is where every sock story ends early.
- Linked, not sewn: toe seams are closed flat by hand so the inside of the sock is as considered as the outside.
