Quick answers to what we get asked most. Anything else, ask us directly.
How do I find my sock size?
Our S-XL sizes map to shoe sizes, listed in the chart on every product page. Between sizes, take the larger for crews and boot socks and the smaller for no-shows and liners – cuffs relax with wear, heel grips do not.
What are your socks made of?
Combed cotton blends for everyday, athletic and dress pairs; merino wool blends with a fine nylon core for hiking and slipper styles. Exact compositions are on each product page. We choose yarns for hand feel and durability, and every dye lot is wash-tested before knitting.
How should I wash knit socks?
Cool machine wash inside out, gentle spin, then flat dry for wool and low tumble for cotton. Skip fabric softener – it coats the fibers and slackens the rib. Our Journal has the full wash-day routine if you enjoy doing things properly.
Do no-show liners really stay up?
Ours do, for a specific reason: a silicone crescent inside the heel and a bonded flat edge instead of a bulky hem. Put the crescent squarely on the back of the heel when dressing and the liner stays where morning-you left it.
My sock heel wore through – is that normal?
Eventually, yes – heels and toes are where every sock ends. Ours are double-looped there to push that day seasons further out. When it comes, worn knit socks make excellent dusters and better rag-bag donations than any synthetic pair.
How fast is shipping?
Orders ship within 2 business days, tracked, in recycled mailers. Orders over $40 ship free. Unworn pairs return freely within 30 days – see Shipping & Returns for the details.
