Our Craft

Blending, pouring, curing and burn-testing — how every batch is made.

Slow is a feature. This page is the short version of what happens between raw wax and your first light.

Blending

Each fragrance is composed from a small library of phthalate-free oils and absolutes, then rested for two weeks and re-smelled blind before it is approved.

Pouring

We pour at low temperature into pre-warmed vessels — the difference between a smooth, even top and the frosted, cratered look of a rushed candle.

Curing

Every candle rests a full week so the fragrance binds evenly through the wax. It is the least visible step and the one we refuse to skip.

Testing

Every batch is burn-tested: melt pool, flame height, throw at one hour and at ten. If a pour fails, it becomes wax melts — never a customer order.
