What is the difference between eau de parfum and eau de toilette?
Concentration. Our eaux de parfum carry more fragrance material and wear closer and longer; the toilettes are lighter and made for generous respraying. Neither is better – they are different tools for different hours.
How do I choose a fragrance without smelling it first?
Start with a discovery set. The Sillage Trio covers the two signatures plus the seasonal blend; the Atelier Five covers the whole range. Wear each vial for a full day before judging – a fragrance on paper and a fragrance at 4 pm are different animals. The set price is credited against your first full flacon.
How long does a fragrance last on skin?
It varies honestly with skin, weather and concentration. As a rule of thumb our eaux de parfum stay present through a working day, toilettes for a few hours, mists for about an hour. Layering the matching bath oil under a blend extends everything.
Can I refill the travel sprays?
Yes – that is the point of them. Use the Verre funnel set to refill from any flacon, or send the atomizer back with an order and we refill it at the bench for the cost of the juice.
How fast is shipping?
Orders leave the atelier within 2 business days on tracked services. Orders over $75 ship free.
Can I return a fragrance?
Unopened items in their cellophane return freely within 30 days. An opened flacon cannot be resold – which is exactly why the discovery sets exist. If anything arrives damaged, photograph it and write to us; a replacement ships immediately.
