What is actually in your soap?
Every listing states its ingredients base in plain words: olive oil base for bar soaps, coconut and olive for shampoo bars, shea and cocoa butter for whipped butters, mineral salt blends for soaks. Scents are essential oil blends and colours are mineral pigments. We do not print ingredient theatre on the site – if you need the full ingredient declaration for a specific batch, write to us and we send the batch sheet.
Are your products tested on animals?
No. We test on ourselves, our families and a patient circle of friends – every product spends a season at our own sinks and tubs before it earns a listing.
How long does a bar last?
A full-size bar lasts four to six weeks of daily use when it drains dry between uses – which is why we sell the five-dollar bamboo dish so insistently. Left in a puddle, any handmade bar retires early; that is soap physics, not a defect.
My bar looks different from the photo – is that normal?
Yes, and it is the point. Every bar is marbled freehand, so patterns vary loaf to loaf and bar to bar. Weight and scent are held consistent; the swirl is yours alone.
Can I use bath products if I have sensitive skin?
Our recipes are simple and stated plainly, but skin is personal – read the ingredients base on each listing, patch-test anything new, and ask us for the full batch sheet if you need it. We answer ingredient questions honestly rather than reassuringly.
How fast is shipping?
Orders leave the studio within 2 business days on tracked services. Orders over $35 ship free; smaller orders ship at a flat rate shown at checkout.
