Description
The single best thing you can do for a handmade bar costs five dollars: a slatted dish that lets air under the soap. Water drains through, the bar dries between uses, and a bar that would have melted into a puddle lasts twice as long standing dry.
Ours is cut from solid bamboo, sanded smooth and left unfinished so it weathers to a soft grey with the bathroom. The slats are spaced for our bar sizes but hold any brand politely. Rinse it monthly and it serves for years.
