This policy explains what BlueWave Marine Hardware does with the information you send us through this website. It is written in plain English because a privacy policy nobody reads protects nobody.
What we collect
When you submit an inquiry form we collect the name, company, email address, telephone number, quantity and requirements you type into it. Nothing else is collected from that form, and none of the fields are pre-populated from other sources.
Why we collect it
Solely to answer your inquiry: to prepare a quotation, confirm stock and lead time, and follow up on the enquiry itself. We do not sell, rent or share inquiry data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are retained for three years so that we can answer follow-up questions about a quotation or an order. Order and certification records are retained for ten years, because a load-rated fitting has a service life measured in decades and we may need to trace it.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. WordPress may set a session cookie if you log in to the administration area, which applies to our own staff rather than to visitors.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the sales desk using the address on the contact page and we will respond within thirty days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and change the date below.
