Which pruner should I start with?
For most hands and most gardens, the Bypass Pruner No.2 covers everything up to finger-thick green growth. Add the needle-nose snips for deadheading and herbs. Thicker, older wood wants a pruning saw rather than a bigger squeeze.
Terracotta or glazed – which pot?
Unglazed terracotta breathes, dries faster and forgives overwatering, which makes it the safer choice outdoors and for herbs. Glazed stoneware holds moisture longer and protects indoor floors with its saucer. Many of our customers run terracotta outside and glazed inside.
Do fiber pots really break down?
Yes – planted whole, the walls soften with soil moisture and roots grow through as the fiber breaks down over the season. Tear the rim off at planting if it sits above the soil line, so it does not wick moisture away from the roots.
How do I keep wooden handles nice?
Wipe tools dry after wet work and give handles a thin coat of linseed oil once a year – five minutes with a rag in autumn. Avoid leaving wooden tools outside overnight; dew is what greys and splits them.

Can I return something?
Unused items in original packaging return freely within 30 days. If a tool fails in normal garden use, photograph it and write to us – we repair or replace first and ask questions later.
