Made Mindfully

Materials chosen by hand, sewn in small batches, tested in real studios.

Every Solstice piece follows the same slow route from raw material to your practice. Here is what happens along the way.

Chosen by hand

Cork is selected for grain and density, linen for how it washes, rubber for how it grips a damp palm. Suppliers are few and long-term; we visit, we ask, we keep samples of every lot.

Cut, sewn and pressed in small batches

Bolsters and cushions are cut and sewn in runs of a few dozen, blocks are pressed and sanded smooth, and every mat is unrolled and inspected before it ships. Small batches mean small corrections instead of big compromises.

Tested in real practice

Prototypes live in partner studios for a season before launch. Instructors flag what slips, sags or squeaks — and that version never reaches the shelf.

Packaging that stays humble

Recycled kraft boxes, paper tape, no plastic sleeves. The unboxing is quiet on purpose; the practice is the event.
