The insulated hopper drains fully for material changes, and drying temperature is monitored at the hopper inlet where it matters, not just at the heater. A dewpoint indicator option shows at a glance that the air is actually dry before a quality-critical run starts.
Airflow and hopper size are matched to throughput during the engineering review, so the dryer that arrives is sized for the material and the shot rate, with reserve for regrind blends.
