Bladecraft Kitchen Cutlery started at a sharpening bench, not a warehouse. For years we sharpened other people’s knives – hundreds of them a month – and kept a private list of the blades that came back rarely, took a fine edge willingly and survived their owners’ dishwashing habits. When the list stabilised, we started selling from it. This shop is that list.
What we stock
Chef knives and gyutos, santoku and nakiri profiles, paring and utility blades, bread and carving knives, water stones from repair grits to mirror finishers, honing rods, board oil and rust erasers, end-grain boards, magnetic strips and blocks, and gift sets that pair a blade with the habit that keeps it sharp. Steel is a high-carbon stainless style hardened to HRC 58-62 typical – hard enough to hold a fine angle, forgiving enough for a busy kitchen.

How we work
- Every edge is set by hand: each knife is finished on water stones and stropped in our Edge Lab before it ships – factory edges are where we start, never where we stop.
- Checked, not sampled: straightness, grind symmetry, handle fit and edge bite are checked on every single blade, not one per batch.
- Kept sharp for life: our mail-in sharpening service regrinds anything we sell at cost, forever – because a knife shop should stand behind edges, not just sales.
