Description
A good bread knife saws through a rugged crust while the crumb below barely notices. The pointed scallops on this 230 mm blade bite on the first stroke – no skating across a glossy boule – and the length crosses a full sourdough in two passes. It is equally good at the other jobs serration wins: tomatoes at peak season, layered cakes, melons.
Serrated edges keep their bite for years of home use. When the teeth finally dull, our mail-in sharpening service regrinds them properly rather than pretending a pull-through can. The black handle is dishwater-proof composite, though we will still ask you to hand wash the blade.
