TorqueDyn Drives has been winding motors in Coppervale since 1998. We build induction and permanent-magnet frames from 80 through 400, the gearing that bolts onto them and the inverters that run the pair, and the engineer who sizes your drivetrain is the one who picks up the phone when it misbehaves.
Why we kept the dynamometer
Most shops our size sold theirs years ago and quote off published tables instead. Tables assume 50 Hz, clean air and a stiff supply; hardly any plant runs like that. Ten minutes with a thermocouple in the winding settles what a week of correspondence cannot.

Who does what here
- Application engineering: works from your load torque and the speed range you actually run at, then picks motor, gearing and inverter as one package.
- Winding shop: stators wound, vacuum pressure impregnated and surge-tested on site.
- Machine shop: shafts, end shields and housings cut here, so fits get measured instead of assumed.
- Test bay: loads every unit and writes the numbers against its serial before it is crated.
- Service desk: rewinds, seal kits and drive matching, including fleets we did not build.
