108 beads graduated from 7.8 mm at the clasp to 9.2 mm at the centre, hand-knotted on silk with an 18k gold barrel clasp. Total length 96 cm.
Icy jadeite is nearly colourless and judged almost entirely on translucency and the absence of cotton. Matching a full strand takes far longer than cutting one. These came from four boulders bought over two years and were sorted three times before stringing.
