The ping-an-kou — the safety lock — is the plainest form in jade and the hardest to hide anything in. A disc has no carving to distract from an uneven colour or a cotton patch, which is why it is the shape most often bought as a first serious piece.
Colour is even across the face with a slight deepening at one edge. Laboratory report confirms natural jadeite, no treatment detected.
