A welding cell is a machine and a process at the same time. Both need proper documentation, and we supply both as part of every project.
Welding procedure documentation
Each system is delivered with welding procedures developed and tested on your material and joint types, recorded in clear documents that production and quality teams can work from.
Capability testing
Before handover we run a capability test on real parts and measure the results. That record is handed over with the machine and becomes the quality baseline for the life of the system.
Machinery safety file
Risk assessment, guarding drawings, safety circuit documentation and verification measurements are compiled into a complete safety file before the system leaves our workshop.
Acceptance testing
Acceptance criteria are agreed in writing before the build starts, so the final test is a measurement rather than a negotiation. The criteria typically cover cycle time, weld quality, safety verification and operator documentation.
Traceability
Systems can be equipped with weld data logging, so key process values are recorded for every part and can be reviewed if a question comes up later.
Standards we work to
- Machinery safety engineered and verified to recognised international standards
- Welding procedures developed and documented to established industry practice
- Robot integration and guarding designed to current safety requirements
- Electrical construction to the applicable machinery standards
