Between the Marlow and the Halden sits the piece most people actually need: 1880 mm wide, two seat cushions rather than three, so nobody ends up sitting on a seam.
Photographed here in Tresco Ochre, a viscose chenille woven in two directions so it catches the light like suede. It is the loudest colour in the library and it earns its keep in a room of chalk walls and pale oak.
