Cortado Brew Gear started behind the bar of a small roastery, where we kept modifying the equipment we could not buy: a steadier kettle, a cone that drained evenly, a cup sized to the drink instead of the dishwasher rack.
What we make
Brewing equipment for people who make coffee at home and mean it – drippers, grinders, kettles, presses, espresso bench tools and the drinkware to serve it all. Every piece is used daily on our own brew bar before it earns a listing, and everything is priced so better coffee does not require a better salary.
How we work
- Selection: every product starts as a gap on our own brew bar.
- Testing: three months of daily service – hundreds of brews – before launch.
- Service: spare beakers, gaskets, burrs and lids stocked so gear gets repaired, not retired.
