Brochures are easy to print. This page summarises how a Rockspan machine earns its specification before the first unit reaches a customer.
Run under load before dispatch
Every crusher, screen and feeder runs under power on our test bay before crating: bearings up to temperature, vibration signatures logged, hydraulic circuits cycled at working pressure. A machine that has never turned a shaft does not leave the works.
A protocol, not a demonstration
Each machine model passes a written verification protocol: structural checks on frames and lifting points, drive and guarding review, tramp-release and interlock function tests, and an open-issues list that must close before series release.
What every unit passes
- Weld and frame inspection at defined checkpoints during fabrication.
- Powered function run of every moving assembly before crating.
- Hydraulic circuits pressure-tested and verified leak-free.
- Guarding and safety signage audit against the machine safety file.
Documented and traceable
Every machine leaves with its test record, settings sheet and serial-numbered parts book. Records stay retrievable by serial number for the machine’s working life. Ask for a sample test record with your inquiry.
