Wickfield started at a kitchen stove with a thrifted pouring pot, a bag of soy wax and one question: why do so many candles smell like the idea of a scent instead of the scent itself? Eleven test batches later we had our first jar worth naming – and a rule we still keep: nothing ships until it burns beautifully in our own homes.
What we make
Small-batch jar candles, wood-wick pours, travel tins, reed diffusers, wax melts and the brass tools that keep them all burning clean. Every scent is blended in-house, rested for two weeks so it settles through the wax, and test-burned end to end before it earns a place in the catalogue.
How we work
- Small batches: we pour in runs of sixty jars, never pallets – wax remembers haste.
- Honest materials: coconut-soy wax, cotton and wood wicks, vessels worth keeping after the last burn.
- Slow testing: every blend is burned across a full season of real evenings before launch.
