Description
Emberwick is our fireside without the fireplace: a wide, flat wooden wick that burns with a soft, irregular crackle, set in a scent of oak barrel, clove and dry woods. The sound is quiet enough to read over and present enough to notice.
Wood wicks reward a little technique – keep them trimmed to about 3 mm and tip the first burn long enough for a full pool – and this jar makes the habit worth learning.
