Kelvinix Cooling

About Kelvinix

Kelvinix Cooling builds thermal management equipment for data centres that have outgrown air. We make coolant distribution units, cold plates, rear door heat exchangers, immersion tanks, the fluid network that connects them and the instrumentation that watches all of it.

Why we build the whole loop

Liquid cooling projects fail in the gaps between vendors. The cold plate supplier assumes a flow rate; the CDU supplier assumes a pressure drop; the manifold supplier assumes both; and nobody owns the number where they meet. When the rack runs hot, three companies each demonstrate that their component meets its own specification.

We build every element between the die and the dry cooler so the flow budget, the pressure drop and the control logic are designed once. When something is wrong, there is one company to call and no argument about whose number was optimistic.

How we work

Nothing is quoted before it is modelled. Our applications engineers take the rack elevation and the per-device power and return a sized flow network, a pressure budget and a loop schematic. If the honest answer is that a cheaper technology fits, that is what the drawing says.

Every CDU is wet-tested at rated flow before it leaves the floor and ships with its measured curve. Our field engineers stay through fill, purge, leak verification and control tuning, and the handover is signed against trend data rather than a checklist.

The company

Kelvinix was founded by thermal engineers out of the semiconductor test industry, where single-digit kelvin control was routine long before data centres needed it. We manufacture in Wilmington, Delaware, hold ISO 9001:2015 for the production line, and support installations worldwide with a 48-hour field response commitment.

What we will tell you

That immersion will change your service procedures. That a passive door stops working at 45 kW. That your facility water temperature is the variable with the largest effect on your bill, and that raising it is usually cheaper than anything we could sell you. We would rather lose an order than commission a loop that does not do what the drawing promised.

Our applications engineers return a sized loop schematic, flow and Delta-T budget, and a bill of materials within two working days.
